Muhammad the Sinful:-
The later Muhammadan exegetes created the DOGMA of Isma/ Sinlessness of Muhammad in emulation of the Christian one regrding Jesus.
This doctrine of Muhammad's alleged infallibility, impeccability and sinlessness emerged slowly over the centuries. This doctrine - a total and undeniable perversion of reality and fact - is based only on dogma and not on any truthful record since the Quran and Ahadith themselves repeatedly and unequivocally state and show that he was only a man, a mortal and suffered their strengths and weaknesses of fallibility and sinfulness.
Muhammadan scholars have only themselves to blame for their unsuccessful endeavours at perverting and tampering with the historical - and their own - theological records by attempting to make Muhammad seem incorruptible and infallible contrary to the evidence at hand.
These distortions of the reports of the Ahadith (Bukhari Hadith 1:46, 345,394; 3:233, 244; Tarmidi Hadith 244; etc) are also contrary to the Quranic verses that repeatedly declare that Muhammad was only a human messenger subject to human frailties and temptations:
3: 137 Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected truth……144 Muhammad is no more than an Apostle: many were the Apostles that passed away before him. If he died or were slain will ye then turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve him) with gratitude.
12: 3 We do relate unto thee the most beautiful of stories in that We reveal to thee this (portion of the) Qur'an: before this thou too wast among those who knew it not.
17: 95 Say "If there were settled on earth angels walking about in peace and quiet We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for an apostle."
*** The verse is clear in explaining the difference between a human and an angelic apostle: the latter is incorruptible while the former is ***
18: 110 Say: "I am but a man like yourselves (but) the inspiration has come to me that your Allah is one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord let him work righteousness and in the worship of his Lord admit no one as partner."
*** This verse shows clearly that Allah was already known as a god of the pagan Arabs long before Muhammad and his Quran.
The only difference is Muhammad's insistence that Allah is ONE deity without any associates ***
21: 34 We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die would they live permanently? 35 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial: to Us must ye return.
25: 7 And they say: "What sort of an apostle is this who eats food and walks through the streets? Why has not an angel been sent down to him to give admonition with him?
40:55 Patiently then persevere: for the Promise of Allah is true: and ask forgiveness for thy fault and celebrate the Praises of thy Lord in the evening and in the morning.
42: 52 And thus have We by Our command sent inspiration to thee: thou knowest not (before) what was Revelation and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way
46: 9 Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the apostles nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration: I am but a Warner open and clear."
48: 1 Verily We have granted thee a manifest Victory: 2 That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfil His favor to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way;
*** Some of the commentators take this to mean sins committed by Muhammad before his call and after it.
Others refer to the word to the liaison with the Coptic handmaiden Mary, and to his marriage with Zainab, the wife of his adopted son Zaid.
None of the commentators that have been researched, including al-Baizawi, al-Jalalayin, al-Kamalan, and Husain, give the last interpretation. They all say it refers to his sins before and after his call to the Apostleship***
The Hadiths are replete with sayings and stories that show Muhammad being as sinful as any other human being with similar weaknesses and strengths.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 1.46 Narrated byAbdullah
The Prophet said, "Abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (an evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief)." Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: "Allah's Apostle went out to inform the people about the (date of the) night of decree (Al-Qadr) but there happened a quarrel between two Muslim men. The Prophet said, "I came out to inform you about (the date of) the night of Al-Qadr, but as so and so and so and so quarreled, its knowledge was taken away (I forgot it) and maybe it was better for you. Now look for it in the 7th, the 9th and the 5th (of the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan)."
*** Muhammad, allegedly the greatest of the prophets, FORGOT the date of the most momentous instance of his life; the night when the first verse of the Quran was allegedly revealed to him by the angel Gabriel***
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 1.394 Narrated byAbdullah
The Prophet prayed (and the sub-narrator Ibrahim said, "I do not know whether he prayed more or less than usual"), and when he had finished the prayers he was asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Has there been any change in the prayers?" He said, "What is it?' The people said, "You have prayed so much and so much." So the Prophet bent his legs, faced the Qibla and performed two prostration's (of Sahu) and finished his prayers with Taslim (by turning his face to right and left saying: "As-Salamu'Alaikum-Warahmat-ullah"). When he turned his face to us he said, "If there had been anything changed in the prayer, surely I would have informed you but I am a human being like you and liable to forget like you. So if I forget remind me and if anyone of you is doubtful about his prayer, he should follow what he thinks to be correct and complete his prayer accordingly and finish it and do two prostrations (of Sahu)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 3.233/244 Narrated byAbu Said Al Khudri
Allah's Apostle used to practice Itikaf in the middle ten days of Ramadan and once he stayed in Itikaf till the night of the twenty-first and it was the night in the morning of which he used to come out of his Itikaf. The Prophet said, "Whoever was in Itikaf with me should stay in Itikaf for the last ten days, for I was informed (of the date) of the Night (of Qadr) but I have been caused to forget it. (In the dream) I saw myself prostrating in mud and water in the morning of that night. So, look for it in the last ten nights and in the odd ones of them." It rained that night and the roof of the mosque dribbled as it was made of leaf stalks of date-palms. I saw with my own eyes the mark of mud and water on the forehead of the Prophet (i.e. in the morning of the twenty-first).
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.429 Narrated byMalik bin Sasaa
The Prophet said, "While I was at the House in a state midway between sleep and wakefulness, (an angel recognized me) as the man lying between two men. A golden tray full of wisdom and belief was brought to me and my body was cut open from the throat to the lower part of the abdomen and then my abdomen was washed with Zam-zam water and (my heart was) filled with wisdom and belief……
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.388 Narrated byAisha
The Prophet used to say, 'O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the affliction of the Fire, the punishment of the Fire, the affliction of the grave, the punishment of the grave, and the evil of the affliction of poverty. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the evil of the affliction of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal, O Allah! Cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from all sins as a white garment is cleansed from filth, and let there be a far away distance between me and my sins as You made the East and West far away from each other. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness, sins, and from being in debt."
Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 328 Narrated byAbuHurayrah
The Messenger of Allah, (peace be upon him) said: I found myself in Hijr and the Quraysh were asking me about my night journey. I was asked about things pertaining to Bayt al-Maqdis, which I could not preserve (in my mind). I was very much vexed, so vexed as I had never been before. Then Allah raised it (Bayt al-Maqdis) before my eyes. I looked towards it, and I gave them the information about whatever they questioned me.
*** Yet again, Muhammad - the alleged greatest of all the previous prophets - who had only hours before returned from his mythical Night Journey, FORGOT what the Temple of Solomon looked like although he had just declared that he had led all the other prophets in prayers there a few hours earlier ***
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 5036 Narrated byAbulAzhar al-Anmari
When the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) went to his bed at night, he would say: in the name of Allah, I have laid down my side for Allah. O Allah! forgive me my sin, drive away my devil, free me from my responsibility, and place me in the highest assembly.
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 5043 Narrated byAisha, Ummul Mu'minin
When the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) awake at night, he said: There is no god but thou, glory be to Thee, O Allah, I ask Thy pardon for my sin and I ask Thee for Thy mercy. O Allah! advance me in knowledge: do not cause my heart to deviate (from guidance) after Thou hast guided me, and grant me mercy from thyself; verily thou art the grantor.
Tabari 6:75 "'Messenger, how did you first know with absolute certainty that you were a prophet?' He replied, 'Two angels came to me while I was somewhere in Mecca…. One angel said, "Open his breast and take out his heart." He opened my chest and heart, removing the pollution of Satan and a clot of blood, and threw them away. Then one said, "Wash his breast as you would a receptacle." He summoned the Sakinah, which looked like the face of a white cat, and it was placed in my heart. Then one said, "Sew up his breast." So they sewed up my chest and placed the seal between my shoulders.'"
And last but not least are the Satanic Verses that he uttered as reported in
53: 19 "Have ye seen Lat and Uzza 20 And another the third (goddess) Manat? 21What! for you the male sex and for Him the female? 22Behold such would be indeed a division most unfair!
Originally the Quran followed 19 & 20 by
" These are the exalted cranes (Gharaniq/intermediaries) whose intercession is to be hoped for".
These verses were abrogated and edited out later on and replaced with 21 & 22 above.
This event is reported in
Ibn Ishaq's " Sirat Rassoul'Allah"
as well as by
Al Wakidi (d 823/207H) in his "Asbab al Nuzul";
Ibn Sa'ad (d 845/230H) in his "Kitab al Tabaqat al Kabir";
Ibn Jarir al Tabari (d 923) in his monumental Islamic "History of the world";
Bukhari Hadith 6:385 and others.
In the Qarawiyun Manuscript (fos 37b-38) there is a tradition of outstanding importance because it is the only evidence in existence that shows the enormous influence of a monotheist on Muhammad by way of admonition.
Ibn Ishaq says:
" I was told that the apostle of Allah while speaking of Zayd ibn 'Amr ibn Nufayl said,
" He was the first to blame me for worshipping idols and forbade me to do so….. I went and sat with him. I had with me a bag of meat from our sacrifices to our idols which Zayd ibn Haritha was carrying, and I offered it to him. I was a young lad at the time.
I said "Eat some of this food, O my uncle".
He replied " Nephew, it is a part of those sacrifices of yours which you offer to the idols, isn't it?
" When I answered that it was, he said " If you were to ask the daughters of Abd al Muttalib, they would tell you that I never eat of these sacrifices and I want nothing to do with them."
Then he blamed me and those who worship idols and sacrifice to them until Allah honoured me with His apostleship"
*** There are many more Ahadith that reflect very badly upon Muhammad's character that no one can actually challenge since they were written by Muhammadan Muslims who had no reason whatsoever to make him deliberately look bad ***
